When we first started hosting and designing web sites the choices were very limited.

The large companies were charging a small fortune to host a web site, and so it was not the cost effective solution it should have been.
We came into the market place with plans that were 12 times cheaper, and when we approached a major provider and asked why they were so expensive, they said " Because we can be". In other words there was no competition.

Well we provided some, and now prices are reasonable.
(Not that it was all down to us of course, but now our own plans are even more of a bargain)
